Johanna Schmidt is a PostDoc at the Institute of Visualization and Computer Graphics (IVC), where she has been working since June 2026. She received her PhD in Computer Science from TU Wien in 2016 and afterwards contributed to multiple applied research projects in industry and academia. Her research focuses on methods for visual inspection and analysis of time series data, with a particular emphasis on very large datasets arising from long‑term monitoring of power plants and other industrial systems.
