Horst Possegger

Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. BSc

Tackling all sorts of visual perception tasks through machine learning since 2011.

Additional Information

In 2018, I completed my PhD on visual object tracking, focusing on the use of contextual information for generic single-object tracking and the development of multi-object tracking algorithms. I lead the Learning, Recognition & Perception (LRP) workgroup. Our research centers on addressing visual perception tasks using machine learning, including object recognition and tracking in both 2D and 3D, visual motion analysis and forecasting, anomaly detection, and video analysis more broadly.
