The CLAIRE project sets out to develop a novel platform for research on new technologies for AR applications directly at the interface between the physical and the virtual world. In so doing, the device will contain many novel sensor and display concepts. This includes audio and video input and output, gesture recognition via radar as well as touch interfaces, AI processing on the edge and wireless connectivity. The technology platform will allow easy setup of experiments with state-of-the art AR technologies.
