DOMINO – ML DevOps Methods for a Green and Safe EdgeAI Lifecycle

The DOMINO project aims to bridge the gap in managing the complete lifecycle of Edge AI systems for industrial and safety-critical applications. By developing an advanced MLOps framework inspired by DevOps, the project enables secure initial deployment, continuous real-world monitoring, as well as safe and trusted system updates guided by non-expert user feedback. DOMINO demonstrates these methods across three sustainable use cases: from industrial inspection to rail transportation, and renewable energy. Ultimately, this holistic approach will lower the barriers to deploying robust Edge AI solutions, enhancing the competitiveness of Austrian industries and supporting a broader green transformation.
