The Intelligent Geometry & Simulation (IGS) Research Group, led by Ursula Augsdörfer, specializes in analyzing, generating, and manipulating visual content using both classical and intelligent approaches.
Our work combines mathematics, physics, and artificial intelligence to tackle complex challenges in computer graphics. Our projects span a wide range of topics, including 3D modeling, manufacturing and quality control, physics-based modeling and animation, XR and human-computer interaction.
Our current work focuses on integrating intelligent methods with classical geometry processing to enhance the creation of high-level 3D geometric models.
